Approach

Pain & age can rob us of the joy and pleasure of moving the body. I bring those qualities into physiotherapy so it is inspiring and motivating to keep moving and stay fit.

My approach combines traditional physio with multi-disciplinary healing modalities that target the physical structures of the body as well as the mind and nervous system.

Every session has a movement element and a treatment, so you feel the possibility of change straight away. You can expect sensory and motor control exercises, strengthening, mobility and a healthy dose of fun.

Key components of my practice:

  • Strength work to help us feel more capable and support bone and muscle health.

  • Joint specific mobility to help reduce strain on individual joints and get everything moving better.

  • Breath work to increase awareness and reduce our stress response.

  • Posture and gait analysis to see if small changes can have a big impact.

  • Personalised goals to keep you doing the activities you love.

We work together to help you feel stronger, more mobile, and more capable even after our first session.

I offer follow up exercises and handouts, sometimes in the form of videos, in addition to my movement classes live in person, live online, and recorded.

GROUP SESSIONS

I AM Currently registerinG interest for small group sessions focused on: Hip JOINT STiffness, Back PAin, Knee Pain, and PElvic Floor awareness

These small group sessions, held weekly give you the opportunity to work in a bespoke way, with other people with similar issues. Each client will have their unique programme, but work on it together. These classes are more cost effective than individual sessions, but are can provide structure to your exercise program and better teaching than an 1:1 session.
