A lifelong mover, and creative being, Mollie's work has moved from teaching yoga to teaching teachers, and helping them (you!) discover your authenticity and unique voice as a yoga teacher.
While loving the intricacy of the design of the body, Mollie has a talent for explaining complex concepts with simplicity and humour. More than that, her guidance leads you into the experience in the body, rather than leaving you stuck in your head.
Her classes emphasize connecting and feeling your body through yoga, somatic practices, anatomical embodiment and intuitive movement while inviting challenge, self-awareness, expansion and beauty through practice.

Understand what you are doing when you are cueing, and how to get the most out of how, when and how much you cue movement.
Explore and clarify how different types of language evoke different qualities of movement, and how you can invite students into (or alienate them from) their bodies.
Imagery can serve as a very direct and precise way to communicate ideas quickly. We will discuss different types of imagery, from metaphor to yogic and how they transform movement.
This seminar builds on these concepts into sequencing, not just ordering poses, but how you layer your cues throughout a class, to create meaningful explorations and inner inquiry.

The webinars will be interactive, so it will be fun to be there live together. But if you can't, you will have access to the videos after.
HOW IS THE COURSE DELIVERED?
You will recieve emails with some of the course content, worksheets and homework, and will be invited to join the webinars. Web based access will also be available.
HOW WILL I INTERACT WITH MOLLIE AND THE OTHER PARTICIPANTS?
We will have a private Facebook group for discussion and reflection. You can get feedback and ask questions there, or if you would like more specific or in depth mentoring 1-2-1 sessions can be added onto the course. 1-2-1 sessions can be used for specific course related material, or more individual needs.
IS THERE ANY HOMEWORK OR READING?
You will receive handouts and worksheets that are optional, but obviously will support your own learning and development. Some additional readings (and bonus videos) will be provided, of varying lengths, to stimulate your creativity and explore different kinds of language.
HOW MUCH TIME WILL I SPEND?
Each webinar will be approximately 1.5 hours live + about an hour of additional time per week. Most of that will naturally slip into your class prepration time, but you might spend additional time if you like.
IS IT ONLY FOR YOGA TEACHERS?
Other movement teachers, exercise or pilates instructors, dance facilitators could definitely benefit. We may use yoga poses as examples, but the content is not limited to asana practice.
WHAT IF I TEACH A SET YOGA SERIES?
This course is not about sequencing, or what poses you teach. It is about how you create embodiment within the yogic forms, asana, pranayama, kriya etc. that you share. I will ask you to dive into your experience of your series to draw out some of your unique perspectives. It might leave you feeling refreshed, and reconnected to your practice with different ways to share your insights.
Teachers of kundalini, ashtanga, hot and Bikram yoga, mandala and rocket styles are all welcome to explore how to encourage embodiment and connection within the structures taught.
HOW WILL TERE BE SPACE FOR SO MANY STYLES? AND HOW WILL FEEL LIKE MY VOICE?
All of my teaching is about opening a space of personal inquiry, using frameworks to help you organise your thoughts. The idea is to help you reframe and become intentional with how you use language in your classes. So I don't give you a script, or tell you what words work better. I invite you to think about what is different if you say "step your right foot forward" vs. "float your right foot forward" vs. "kick your right foot forward". You can choose whichever works better for your purpose, sequence and intention in the class. This means you are making that choice intentionally, and have the option to explore different choices.
IS THERE A DEADLINE TO COMPLETE?
You can move through the course material in your own time. If you access the webinars at a slower pace, you won't have the benefit of a community moving with you. You will be able to access the webinars after the course finishes, and to access them repeatedly if you choose.
